He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Yates and Emma Yates. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Michael (Melissa), Amy and Emily; his grandchildren, Nathan, Emma and Sydney; and his siblings, Nancy (Joe) and Jimmy (Helen).
