He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelaide Barden, and William I. Barden, Sr.; and his siblings, Beverly Miksch, William I. Barden, Jr. and Joseph Barden.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Pitts Barden; his daughters, Amy Barden Gray (Danny) and Kimberly Barden-Robinson (Tyrone); his grandchildren, Daniel, Trevor Gray, Jordan, Jessica, Jade and Jasmine Robinson; his siblings, Mary Sue Goode and James M. Barden (Tina); and his sister-in-law Anita Barden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Fairmount Christian Church in Manley's memory.
