She is survived by: her husband David; her children, David, Jr. (Arika) and Alexandra; her brother William David Fess; her granddaughters, Kaidence and Skylar Taylor; her brother-in-law Joey Taylor; her parents, William H. "Bill" Fess and Alpha Lee Fess; and her brother Steve Keister.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
