Carter; his daughter Carlie Carter; his stepdaughters, Autumn White and April Duffer; his grandchildren, Austin, Taia, Courtney, Lyniah and Saylor Paige; his parents, Troy Carter and Carol Carter; his siblings, Joy Johnson (Dinky) and Melissa Eberhard (Butch); his close friend Billy Featherston; and his pet Sonny. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
