With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James L. Sluder Jr. of Sandston, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on August 29, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Sluder, and James L. Sluder, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Wilson (Mike); his grandchildren, Emma, Max and Malcolm Wilson; his caregiver Marcia Sluder; his brother Butch Stults (Debbie); his stepson Conway Harris (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Caitie, Lucie, Cyd, Will, Piper and Leo. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Affinity Funeral Service (8074 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
