He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Greene and Muriel Greene; and his son Jimmy Greene. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Debby Carver (Gary) and Ricky Jenkins; his grandchildren, Joseph Scott Carver (Elizabeth), Aaron Richard Carver (Olivia), Kaitlin Carver Burkhardt (Zachary), Kylie Isabella Jenkins, Courtney, Cody, Crystal and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Caroline, Riley and Max; his sister Ola Mae "Ronnie" Thomason; his niece Susan Thomason; his nephew Jerry Dan Greene (Robin); his stepchildren, David Parrish (Sarah) and Lisa Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Mahieu (Harry) and Kay Stallard. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hardy Central Baptist Church (4655 Darbytown Rd, Richmond, VA 23231). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Memorial Park (10127 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA 22553).
