He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edward Lee Austin, Robert and Teresa McCormick; his mother Karen Sue Maxwell; his great-uncle Myers "Bubba" Austin; and his former wife Brandy Saunders.
He is survived by: his father David Russell "Rusty" Austin; his stepmother Pamela Austin; his children, David Gage Austin and Kaylee Raine Austin; his siblings, Crystal Lynn Skipper, Russell Scott Austin, Jennifer Anne Myles and Kristie Gail Daily; his aunts, Victoria Duff, Angela Austin and Kathy Hughes; his uncle Raymond J. Quarles; and his close friend Beth Matthews. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces.
