It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chad Scott Southward (Sandston, Virginia), who passed away on May 27, 2018, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Lauren Lacy Southward; his sons, Lincoln Stuart Southward and Levi Scott Southward; his parents, Stuart Southward and Debra Curtis; his grandmothers, Betty Southward and Muriel George; and also, Joe Franklin, Pat Franklin, David Lacy and Verna Lacy.

In their earlier years, he taught secondary education, and then worked diligently for organ donation at United Network for Organ Sharing.
