With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Sheffield (Sandston, Virginia), born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on July 24, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Kirkis and Cari Hendrix Kirkis; and her husband Andrew H. Sheffield, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Diane W. Bell of Sutherland, Nancy Ellis of Petersburg, Virginia Sheffield (Tracy Hahn) of Columbus, Ohio and Andrew H. Sheffield III of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Daniel Bell, Daniel Fahy (Liz), Carol Prior, David Prior and Elizabeth Sheffield Rosen; her brother Cecil Kirkis of North Hill, Pennsylvania; and her pet Rufus. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
