He was predeceased by: his father Frank. He is survived by: his wife Maria Hedetniemi-Martello; his children, Jennifer Dover (Richard), Scott A. Martello, Simeon C Martello (Shannon) and Mykel Hedetniemi; and his mother Patricia Martello. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
