He was predeceased by: his parents, Barron Baird and Hattie F. Baird; and his brothers, Edward F. and Benjamin H. Baird. He is survived by: his wife Gazelle Gallagher Baird; his daughters, Beth Dewey (Andy) and Lillian Blackwell (Tommy); his brother William F. Baird; his sister-in-law June M. Baird; his grandchildren, Sarah E. Blackwell, Emily Dewey, James, Daniel Dewey and Thomas Blackwell, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Jessica, Carly, Nora Dewey, Gwendolyn Blackwell, Allen, Mason and Russell Dewey.
