He was predeceased by: his wife Grace T. Parker; and his grandson Timothy. He is survived by: his children, R. David Parker (Ruby), Stephen M. Parker and Carol P. Burnett; and his grandchildren, Michele, Jennifer and Troy. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and one great - great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, 7722 General Puller Hwy, Locust Grove, Va. 23092 or to Riverside Hospice, 7358 Main St., Gloucester, Va., 23061.
