He is survived by: his close friends, Warner Scott, Tim Shealor and Henry Boshin; his wife Nora Kathleen Whitman; his sister Faye Parker; his nephews, Eddie Jr. and James Parker; and his niece Cheryl (Neal).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
