He was predeceased by: his wife Joan. He is survived by: his children, John Madsen, Karen Whitman (Paul) and Paul Madsen (Stacey); his grandchildren, Kelli Whitman, Kai Madsen, Sophia Madsen and Charlotte Madsen; and his parents, Johannes Madsen and Hilda Madsen.
