She was predeceased by: her mother Cleo. She is survived by: her brother Terry Gibbons; and her children, David Scales, Allen Scales, Nancy Dunston, Jackie Scales and Karen Cantor. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Urbanna Volunteer Rescue Squad, Urbanna, Virginia 23175.
