She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelmina Winn Willaford Bridger and William Bateman Willaford; her daughter Jean Ann; her son-in-law Shelton Raye Foster, Sr.; and her siblings, Isla Bridger Brown, Ernestine W. Holloway, Hoyt E. Willaford (Ermont), William Willaford (Billy), Christian Willaford, Alfred G. Bridger, Sr. (Dickie) and Claiborne Bridger.

She is survived by: her stepfather Alvin G. Bridger; her son Alvin V. Johnston (Al) of South Carolina; and her close friend Bob Gloeckl. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
