He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Herman and Vernie Woodard Chapman; and his sisters, Wilma Jean Mays and Carrie Harkless. He is survived by: his sons, Billy Chapman of Raleigh, NC and Daniel Chapman of Chilhowie, VA; his siblings, Raymond Chapman of Saltville, VA, Larry Chapman of Raleigh, NC, Arbie Haynes of Raleigh, NC, Lisa Statzer of Bristol, TN, Wanda Brown of Welch and Patsy Ann Bias of Welch; his nephew David; his niece Tabatha Collins of Glade Spring, VA; and his pets, Sam and Tiny. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
