He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherrill Clifton Aker and Cornelia Angeline Hess Aker; his wife Janice Loraine Davidson Aker; his brother Avery Herman'Conductor'Aker; and his grandparents, John Waymon Philip Aker, Laura Sarena Williams Aker, Herman Burk Hess and Martha Jane Havens Hess.
He is survived by: his son Teddy Aker; his grandson Andrew Aker; his great grandchild Dominic Isaiah Aker; his brother Glenn William Aker (Patricia) of South Carolina; and his sister-in-law Rita Aker Thompson of Adwolf, Virginia.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
