We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 98, Vivian Harner Cooper (Saltville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Price Cooper; and her parents, William Ray Harner and Floy Repass Harner. She is survived by: her children, Alan Cooper (Maureen) of Richmond and Judy VanWinkle (Jim) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Matthew VanWinkle of Pocatello, Janna Pryce (Ricky) of Bridgeport and Amy Cooper (Alex Dimen) of Richmond; her great grandchildren, Maya Pryce of Bridgeport, Benjamin and Oliver Dimen of Richmond; her sisters, Janice Guynn of Woodbine and Shirley Bishop of Fredericksburg; and also, Hope McMechen of Carlton, Georgia, Max Harner of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Norma Rush of Riverview, Florida and Gilda Countiss of Abingdon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Mount Zion Cemetery (3171 Old Rich Valley Rd, Ceres, VA 24318).
