He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Crabtree, Jr. and Mary Ellen Crabtree; and his brother Rudy Arnold Crabtree. He is survived by: his wife Esther Crabtree; his brothers, David Haynes Crabtree (Evelyn) of Newton, NC and Gary Dwight Crabtree (Carol) of Saltville, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Hayes, Sandy Buchanan (Tom) and Dawn Buchanan (Jim) of Saltville, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
