He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Blackson and Helen Blackson; his brother Mike Blackson; his wife Barbara Cardwell Blackson; his sons, Christopher Todd Blackson of Glade Spring, VA and Steven Chad Blackson (Michelle) of Dallas, TX; his brother Jack Blackson (Lisa) of Abingdon, VA; his mother-in-law Anna Cardwell; his grandchildren, Darren Helton of Bristol, VA, Ingrid, Andrew Blackson of Dallas, TX and Duke Colley of Saltville, VA; his great grandchild Ellie Helton; his goddaughter Lauren Helton; his close friend Jim Montgomery; and also Dave Colley (Heather) of Saltville, VA. He was also cherished by many nephews and one special niece.
