She was predeceased by: her parents, Kedrick B. Brinkley and Leona Smith Brinkley; her former husband Harry Ernest Johnson, Sr.; her son Harry Ernest Johnson, Jr. (Ernie); her husband Malcolm T. Haynes I; and her siblings, Betty B. Totten and Robert K. Brinkley (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Kedrick Johnson (Rhonda), Joe Johnson (Jennifer), Mark Haynes (Mitzi), Lea Anna Haynes, Kelly Jones (Jim) and Lee Anna Johnson (Brandon); and her daughter-in-law Tamela Hahn. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
