It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rori Laine Prairie of Saltville, Virginia, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jeanette Markham and Donald Pyne; her stepfather Alvin Markham; her brother Michael Pyne; her grandparents, Max, Sylvia Rider, Gertrude and Tom Regan; her mother-in-law Sandy Prairie; her close friends, Samantha and Rori; her husband Donald Prairie; her daughter Samantha Prairie; her nephew Daniel Pyne; her friend Kimberly Collis; and her pets, Coco, Seth, Connor, Avery, Cuddles and Addison. She was also cherished by loving neighbors, and a multitude of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Smyth County Animal Shelter located in Marion, Virginia.
