He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Bobby" Lowery; and his sister Deborah Sue Repass. He is survived by: his son Shannon Michael Lowery (Amy); his grandchildren, Aidan Lowery, Noah Lowery and Aleah Lowery; his wife Bonnie Lowery; his mother Minnie Sue Lowery; his siblings, Gene Lowery (Sherry), Tammy Kestner, Kathy Loupe (Barry), Julie Romans (Chris) and Bryan Lowery; his brother-in-law Ronald "Doodle" Repass; and his friend Brenda Coleman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
