It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Parker (Saltville, Virginia), born in Damascus, Virginia, who passed away on April 21, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Clyde Parker; his wife Ellen Josie Barrett Parker; his daughter Anna Marie Parker; his siblings, Virginia Mingee (Ralph), James H. Parker and Clyde Parker, Jr.; his wife Olga; his sister-in-law Connie Parker; and also Linda Barrett Fields.
He is survived by: his parent Susie Adams Parker; his children, Susan Cruz (Tolin), Ruth Hubbard, Donley Huggins (Joan), Steve Parker (Jeanette), David Huggins (Brenda), Jan Fuller (Roger), Sharon Arnold (Jerry), Jimmy Huggins, Scott Parker (Vienna) and Quinten Huggins (Toni); his brothers, Ted Parker (Pam) and Ken Parker (Eva); his sisters-in-law, Gay Roop Parker, Mildred Anderson and Edna Briggs; and his child Faris Road. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
