She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Caudell and Mary Wolfe Caudell; the father of her children Cecil Kestner; her husband Abram Boardwine; her son Alvin Kestner; and her brothers, Ira, Talmadge and William "Dub" Caudell.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Heller (Mike), Zelma Boardwine (David), Malinda Dotson (Johnny), Darrell Kestner (Karen) and Barry Kestner (Sharon); her daughter-in-law Rita Kestner; her siblings, Opal Sword, Margaret Holmes (Herbert) and Troy Caudell (Ramona); and her stepsons, Randy Boardwine (Lori) and Gary Boardwine (Cheryl). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Revonda requested donations be made in her memory to Hayter's Gap Community Church, 25309 Hillandale Road, Abingdon, Virginia, 24210.
