She was predeceased by: her daughter Bobbie Cahill Averill; and her sisters, Meg, Inez and Dixie. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Cahill; her children, Jeffrey D. Cahill (Debra) of Texas, Rebekah Howell (Jeff) of Blountville, TN and Amber Maloyed (Wes) of Saltville, VA; and her brother Richard Shortt of Chilhowie, VA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
