She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hayden and Mamie Hayden; her husband William Robert Griffey; her children, Jackie Wayne Griffey and Betty Shupe; and her sisters, Bessie Boyd and Daisy Griffey.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Griffey, Tom Griffey (Dicey), Clarence Griffey (Barbara), Bobby Griffey, Herman Griffey (Kim), Jesse Griffey (Faye), Linda Cole and Donna Lawerence (Darryl); and her sisters, Sadie Mitchell, Bertha Saltz (Eddie), Louise Hall, Nancy Griffey and Carolyn Thomas (Johnny). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
