She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jackson and Nellie Gay Puckett Jackson; her husband Charles Robert Snead; her children, Clifford Snead, George Snead and Debbie Heath; her grandchildren, Melanie Snead and Charlie Snead; and her siblings, Mike Jackson, Harmon Jackson, Bertie Dancy, Lola Brown (Gene) and Janie Taylor (Fullen).

She is survived by: her children, Erma Prater (Robert), Michael Snead (Annette), Anthony Snead (Kim) and James Snead. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
