She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jackson and Imadell Jackson; her husband George Mitchell; her siblings, Bonnie Blevins (Homer), Mary Widener (Johnny) and Walter Lee Jackson (Martha); her brother-in-law Roscoe Barrett; her niece Lisa Neice; and her nephew Richard Forester.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Davis (Nick Evans); her granddaughters, Rylee and Tayllor; her siblings, Billy Jackson (Marlena), Ernest Jackson (Patty), Ricky Jackson (Linda), Thomas Jackson (Sharon), Doris Barrett, Hilda Forester (Carl) and Linda Allison (Mike); and her close friends, Dana, Jimmy Chapman, Deborah Jones, Cadyn and Yah-Yah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Cemetery.
