He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery "Pete" and Annie Ruth Hayton; and his brother Jackie Hayton. He is survived by: his wife Janice Stumbo Hayton; his children, Samantha Hayton, Jeanie Woodard (Randy), Richard Stiltner (Brenda) and James Billings; and his siblings, Vernon Hayton, Darrell Hayton, Becky Hayton and Kathy Moore. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
