She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lester and Almeda Davidson Lester; her husband Tom Hyman Sr.; her son Tommy Hyman; her brother James "Bubby" Lester; and her siblings-in-law, Anna Lester, Attie Talbert, Ruth Woodward, Bea Allison, Wanda Lester, Buddy Hyman, Cleveland Woodward and Sam Talbert.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Surber (Randy) and Eleanor Desai; her grandchildren, Katie (Bobby), Amy, Patrick, Samantha and Alex; her great grandchild Madelyn; and her brother Bill Lester. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
