It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ruth Joannou (Saltville, Virginia), who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaine Null and Pauline Null; her sons, Ricky and Jeffrey Cardwell; her sister Peggy Armstrong; and her brother-in-law Earl Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband John Joannou; her children, Johnny Joannou (Kristie) and Whitney Robinson (Chad); her grandchildren, Travis Cardwell, Rachel Prater (Matt), Sarah Robinson, Ben Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Bethany Joannou (Gage) and Blaine Joannou; her nieces, Vickie Worley (Jeff) and Carlene Goff (Bryon); her nephew Eddie Hayden (Regenia); her sisters-in-law, Maria Catron (Landon), Lillian McDermott and Patricia Thomas; and her close friends, Inga Robinson, Brenda Hancock and Katie Parks.
