It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Wayne McGhee Jr. (Saltville, Virginia), who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Johnny W. McGhee, Sr.; his grandparents, Raymond, Bessie Carter and Dorothy McGhee; and his mother-in-law Mary Able.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa McGhee; his mother Linda McGhee; his son Christopher McGhee (Crystal); his sisters, Sonia Harper (Bradley) and Tammy Roe; his sisters-in-law, Terry Hess and Melissa Mazza; his niece Sarah Vines; his nephews, Justin Harper and Logan Harper; his aunts, Susan Carter, Mary McGhee and Dollie; his close friends, Sue Thomas, Liza Kennedy and Justin Harper; and also Robert Carter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elizabeth Cemetery (1036 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370).
