It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Thompson Sr. (Saltville, Virginia), who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thompson and Mary Thompson; his siblings, Charles, Preston, Ray, Clarence, Dale and Frances Clark; his mother-in-law Walters; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne and Eddie Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Thompson; his children, Judith Robert (Daniel), Jerry Wayne Thompson, Jr., Marissa Frye (Johnny), Zach Thompson and Clarrissa Thompson; his siblings, Paul (Cindy Thompson), Archie, Beulah Coe (Everett), Opal Spears (Emmett), Connie Kerley (Steve) and Eva Davenport (Whrenza); and his grandchildren, Johnny Thompson, Danielle Robert, Adam Robert, Brady Robert, Ryan Robert, Madison Thompson, Skyler Griffey, Cannon Cregger, Carson Cregger, Maelyn Frye and Parker Frye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
