He was predeceased by: his parents, Eubert Jones and Myrtle Jones; and his siblings, William "Boss" Jones and Cordia Davenport. He is survived by: his children, James Jones, Jr. (Melissa) and Jennifer Johnson (Joe); his sisters, Frances Henderson (Rudy), Lou Vivian Davidson and Shirley Blevins (Bill); his grandchildren, Hunter Jones (Aspen), Walker Jones, Al Johnson and C. B. Johnson; and his great grandchild Parker Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
