He was predeceased by: his grandmother Cora Gillespie; and his father Tony Sykes. He is survived by: his daughter Makenzie Sykes; his wife Carrie Sykes; his mother Lisa Johnson; his brother Cody Johnson; his grandfather Samuel Gillespie; and his uncle Sam Gillespie.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Riverside Church Cemetery (458 Riverside Church Rd, Saltville, VA 24370).
