He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Cook, Sr. and Virgie Gillespie Cook; and his siblings, Charles "Bill" William Cook, Mary Cook Sanders (Willis) and Patsy Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Nyoka Talbert Cook; his siblings, Jim Cook (Toby) and Peggy Taylor (C. B.); his sisters-in-law, Christine Taylor Cook and Benita Smith (Don); his nephew James Lee Cook (Anslee); his niece Catherine Cook Akers (Todd); and his close friends, Barney Clear and Randy Harris. He is also survived by his family, friends.
