He is survived by: his wife Lois Shupe; his children, Daniel Shupe (Sandy) and Dianne Buchanan (Gary); his siblings, Eddie Shupe (Alice), Brenda Little and Delores Helton; and his grandchildren, Jessica Buchanan (Jacob Downs) and Jonathan Buchanan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the D. R. Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Snodgrass Family Cemetery (28422 N Fork River Rd, Saltville, VA 24370).
