With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgia Stewart Allison (Saltville, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Stewart and Myrtle Stewart; her husband Lawrence O. Allison; and her siblings, John Stewart, Howard Stewart, James Stewart, Ray Stewart, Charlie Stewart, Rush Stewart, Cora Tolbert, Lottie Hogston, Lily Powers, Maggie Smith, Ocie Surber, Roxie Cardwell and Dora Swiney.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Crouse (Roger), Amy McVey (Bryant) and Walter Allison; her pet Maci; her caregiver Darlene Fullen; her sister-in-law Betty Allison; her close friends, Anna Mae "Frog" Cardwell, Minnie "Tick" Minton, Zelda Nutter, Charles "BudCat" Frye, Peggy Hogston, Barry "BearBoy" Davidson, R. L. "Popeye" Frye, Gary Whitt, Karen, Heather, Kelsey, Tammy and Megan; and also Mildred Allison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Allison Family Cemetery (1805 Allison Gap Rd, Saltville, VA 24370).
