He was predeceased by: his father Archie E. Griffey; and his grandparents, Robert, Mamie Hayden, Arch and Lula Griffey.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Griffey; his son Greg Griffey; his mother Nancy Griffey; and his siblings, Deborah Buchanan (David), Carl Griffey (Missy), Robin Lloyd (Bobby), Julie Prater (Eric), Carol Griffey and Archie S. Griffey (Wanda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and his church family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Open Arms Fellowship (151 Mill Dam Rd, Saltville, VA 24370).
