He is survived by: his daughter Susie Armstrong (Jerl) of Rich Valley; his grandchildren, Ryan Armstrong (Becky) of Rich Valley and Tracy Lomans (Mike) of Chilhowie; and his great grandchildren, Katie Armstrong, Adam Armstrong, Hagan Van Deest, Lucas Van Deest and Autumn Lomans.
