It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Jackson Surber of Saltville, Virginia, born in Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Surber. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Surber Davidson (D. J. Meyer); her grandchildren, Lydia, Liana and Andy; her great grandchild Andrew; her nieces, Winkie, Susie, Peggy and Dremaand; and her grandchild Saltville.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of Ellen's life will be held at a later time when things are safe.
