He was predeceased by: his wife Phyliss "Red" Sweat; his parents, Hal Sweat and Blanche Sweat; and his siblings, Hal Sweat, Jr., Luther Sweat, Ralph Sweat, Teddy Sweat, Evangeline Hayden and Estelle Lowe.
He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Sweat (Vicki Wilson) and Gary Sweat; his sisters, Claudine Thomas and Jeanette Sweat; his grandson Eric Sweat (Tara); his great grandchild Bryce Sweat; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Ferguson (Ann), Helen Hicks (Jim), Mildred Elmore (Bob), Betty Billings, Deloris Ferguson, Judy Sweat and Lois Sweat. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his special friend, his dog.
