He is survived by: his sons, Phillip "Bo" Phipps (Lisa) of Abingdon, VA and Sam Phipps (Tammy) of Dispuntante, VA; his sister Peggy Hess of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Hunter Phipps of Charlotte, NC, Jacob Phipps (Danielle) of Marion, VA and Misty Phipps; his close friends, Peco Norris, Doug Fullen and Roy Baldwin; his pet Itsy; and also, Derek, Nichole Razor and Greg Hayes. He is also survived by the mother of his grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
