He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Shirley Westrick and Jeanette Marie Russell; and his stepfather Jay Perry. He is survived by: his parents, Betty Jane Hamm Perry and Arnold Ray Butler, Jr. (Teresa); his sons, Marshall Ray Butler and Dante Kashius Butler; his stepgrandfather Floyd Russell; his half-brother Joshua Johnson; his stepbrother Derek Dickenson; his half-sister Kayla Johnson; his stepsister Andrea Davis; his uncle Robert; his aunt Karen Butler; and his cousins, Austin Mardis and Shelby Osborne. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home (148 E Main St, Saltville, VA 24370).
