He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Curry Land and Demmae Cobb Land; his wife Bertha Rae Land; his sons, Dennis Ray Isaacs, George Edward Land and Jerry DeWayne Land; and his brother Stanley Earl Land.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Ray Land "Charley" (Christine), Timothy Wayne Land, Jeffrey Earl Land (Ashley Snook) of Virginia, James Douglas Land of Kentucky, Amie Michelle Land, Kimberly Renee Land (Justin) of Virginia, Lisa Hurt and Lovetta L. Schoelhamer (Ronnie) of Kentucky; his pet Dixie; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Cody (Dellaina), Brittany, Colton, Bella, Lily, Otis of Virginia, Katie, Charles (Tony), Justin, Angie, Patricia, Michael, Joshua, Salem, Megan, Jesse, Katrina, Cassie and Cheyenne of Kentucky. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
