She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Barrett; her parents, Vandy Hogston and Nellie Hogston; and her siblings, Ray Hogston and Brenda Offield.
She is survived by: her son Ricky Barrett of Saltville, VA; her sister Kate Surber; her grandchildren, Jamie Barrett (Sheena) of Saltville, VA, Lillian Grace, Maggie Mae and Jasper James Barrett; and her close friends, Amy McVey and Georgie Allison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
