She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Burkett and Mildred Surber Burkett; her grandparents, George Burkett, Bettie Gillespie Burkett, Bill Surber and Sarah Tolbert Surber; her siblings, Maxine Goodman Euzent Benson, Dr. Sexton Burkett and Benny Burkett; her brothers-in-law, Tate Goodman and Howard Webb; and her nephew Tom Goodman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sue Webb of Bristol, TN, Patty Prater (Nelson) of Saltville, VA, Bill Burkett (Reba Dowdy) of Hickory, NC and Curtis Burkett (Vicki Starnes) of Abingdon, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Burkett (Wilson) of Lebanon, VA and Judy Burkett (Musser) of Wytheville, VA.
