With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty K. Spence (Saltville, Virginia), who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Kitts and Lettie Kitts; and her son Michael Wayne Spence. She is survived by: her husband Walter Early Spence; her children, Walter Steven Spence of Saltville, VA, David Spence (Debbie) of Saltville, Jeff Spence (Leisha) of Saltville, VA, Mary Beth Sheets (Jerry) of Chilhowie, VA and Scott Spence (Diane) of Saltville, VA; and her close friends, Mike and Dreama Neal. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
